When disaster strikes, when conflict erupts, local actors and communities are always the first to respond. It is time that their role and expertise are recognized through increased funding and power. For this shift to take place, actors across the humanitarian sector are seeking learning and tools to make a more locally-led response a reality.

Global Localization Survey Results

With over 800 respondents from 60 countries, the Global Localization Survey gathered quantitative information about the range and nature of barriers to a locally-led humanitarian response and provides an evidence base to advocate for system-level changes in the humanitarian sector.
