Matthew Duffy

Matthew is a global professional with nearly 20 years of experience across humanitarian operations, nonprofit management, social impact, academia, and municipal logistics. He worked with Concern Worldwide from 2014 to 2020 across West and Central Africa and held the positions of Education Coordinator and Ebola Response Manager in Sierra Leone; Emergency Response Manager and Area Coordinator in the Democratic Republic of Congo; and Director of Programs and interim Country Director in the Central African Republic. He is professionally proficient in English and French, has decent German, and dabbles in Spanish and Mandarin. As an enthusiastic writer, thinker, and mediator, he is eager to stay engaged with Concern and the global conversation on humanitarian affairs and human rights. He currently lives in San Francisco.
